Abstract
Studies conducted revealed that good foundation on Junior High School mathematics increases the success of learners. Hence, it is essential to develop intervention programs that address the needs of learners. This descriptive- developmental study developed a Mathematics Empowerment Program for STEM learners of Aringay National High School. The program is based on the result of the proficiency test, attitude towards Mathematics, and learning styles. The Modified Fennema — Sherman Attitude Scales, Learning Styles (Felder and Soloman), and proficiency test were utilized as instruments in this research. Findings showed that attitude, both perceived usefulness and confidence, is positive, the dominant learning styles are visual and active, and the level of proficiency was at the beginning level. The proposed Mathematics Empowerment Program was constructed to address the problem. The proposed program has a very high validity, meaning it is suitable to meet the objectives of the program.
