Abstract
Income Generating Project (IGP) of Barangays is one of the initiatives of local government units in the City of San Fernando, La Union, to promote entrepreneurship by encouraging every barangay to identify, develop, and promote a product or service. This study aimed to determine the Marketing Strategies of IGP of Barangays in the City of San Fernando, La Union. Data were collected from 20 barangays with active IGPs using a valid and reliable survey questionnaire and were analyzed using frequency counts and percentage. Findings revealed that these barangay IGPs operated in a limited scope only and focused its marketing strategies attracting low-income earners to buy their products by using various kinds of discounts and bundle promos.
