Abstract
Quality Management System (QMS) is a set of coordinated activities designed to direct and control an organization's quality. This study aimed to assess the awareness of the 115 employees in the municipality of Luna, La Union about QMS. The descriptive correlation was used as a research design, while frequency counts, percentages, median type of average, and a 5-point Likert Scale are used to analyzed in the survey instrument. The findings show that the Employees’ employment status majority are (51.3%) contract of service or job order, almost half (45.2%) are 1-5 years in service, a few (20.9%) are working in the mayor’s office, some (22.6%) are designated as administrative aide I, and almost all (95.7%) are college graduate. The result of the study revealed that the LGU Employees are very aware of the QMS and there is a significant relationship between the level of awareness and respondents’ profile.
