Abstract
The study determined the readiness of the Rosario Integrated School for the Preschool Head Start Program.
Descriptive method was used to collect the data. Respondents were 29 pupils, 29 parents, 6 teachers and 2 administrators.
It was found that most of teacher-respondents are young females, with MA units in SPED, attended trainings, permanent and LSB employed with SPET I position, SG-14, and have 1-5 years of teaching experience.
The pupil-respondents are aged 5, eldest, with parents who are college graduates with varied jobs, receive Phpl15,000-above monthly income, own houses, graduated from public schools, with GPA of 86.00-89.99, with average IQ.
Material, human and curriculum resources are highly available and adequate. Parents are highly involved in the implementation of program.
The study found that there is a significant relationship between the parents’ level of involvement and the implementation of the program. Likewise, there is a significant difference in the perception of the respondents on adequacy of resources and level of involvement.
