Abstract
Due to the environment and health problem that is caused by commercial stain remover, the researchers developed alternative stain removal. The general objectives of this study was to develop and evaluate wash rice as stain removal and the specific objective is to determine the volume, ph acidity, efficacy of wash rice, significance difference, to analyze the shelf life, test the tensile strength. Developmental descriptive evaluative research design was used on the study. The researchers produced 850 ml of wash rice. The Ph control of Wash Rice is pH 6.24, Catsup was the easiest stain to remove, 60 minutes time interval is better than 30 minutes time interval, both catsup and blood stain removed easily in both fabrics. There is significant difference in time interval and fabric used. The wash rice stain removal last until 3 months. The tensile strength and bursting strength in the same fabric both increase its durability.
