Abstract
This study determined the implementation of IA Management of the 24 Irrigators’ Associations of the two (2) National Irrigation Systems of La Union as to Operation and Maintenance, Organization, Financial Performance and Organizational Discipline. Both Masalip IAs and Amburayan IAs along Operation and Maintenance, Organization, Financial Performance, and Organizational Discipline have a Fair Performance with a rating of 67.78% and 68.10%, respectively. There is only one IA in Masalip RIS that has a Satisfactory Performance while in Amburayan RIS, there are four. Extent of implementation on the four aspects of IAs Functionality were found to have a significant difference between the evaluations of the IAs of Masalip and Amburayan RIS. This is due to differences in terms of their profile such as area, budget, personnel and facilities. Based from the result of the study, Amburayan IAs have a little bit higher evaluation compared to Masalip IAs because they were able to implement more strictly their plans and programs.
