Abstract
This study presents the design and development of a Smart Bond Paper Vending Machine capable of dispensing Letter, A4, and Legal-size papers. The system integrates an Arduino-based controller, a coin acceptor, an L298N motor driver for motor control, and an LM2596 voltage regulator for stable power distribution. Motor-driven mechanisms enable automated dispensing, while push buttons and an LCD display provide user interaction and real-time feedback. The machine’s performance was evaluated in terms of storage capacity, coin detection accuracy, and dispensing efficiency. Each tray was loaded with 250 sheets, and ten trials were conducted for 1 peso, 5 pesos, and 10 pesos coins. Results showed an average coin detection accuracy of 99% and a dispensing efficiency of 96.7%, with minimal instances of double feeding and delay. The findings indicate that the system provides a reliable and efficient solution for automated bond paper distribution in academic and office environments.
