Abstract
The study was conducted to determine the best organic fertilizers that could give a favorable growth, yield and highest net income as intercropped with rambutan and to determine the growth performance of rambutan at the duration of the study. The study was conducted at the Agroforestry Research and Demonstration Farm (ARDF) of the Institute of Agroforestry and Watershed Management, Don Mariano Marcos Memorial State University, Bacnotan, La Union from December 7, 2014 to February 18, 2015. The study was laid out in Randomized Complete Block Design with three blocks. There were 720 seeds of snap beans used in the study. The treatment were control (T₀), 3.75g of 0-0-60/hill (T₁), 0.51g of Bio-N + 1.88g of 0-0-60/hill (T₂), 233.5g vermicompost/hill (T₃), and 227.04g cattle manure/hill (T₄). Results of the study revealed highly significant effects on the germination percentage (%) and weight of non-marketable pods per plot. All other parameters revealed no significant result.
