Amidst the increasing demand for safe, healthy and nutrition's food, there is a need to find a alternatives for synthetic based crop production input. Fish amino acid is a nitrogen rich liquid fertilizer and a plant stimulant which can be used as an organic alternative fertilizer. Hence, this study was conducted to determine the effect of FAA as foliar fertilizer on cucumber. The study was conducted from August to October 2022 at Bumbuneg, San Gabriel, La Union, comprising of six treatments (T0- Control (No fertilizer Application )T1- 100% RR , T2- 50% RR, T3- FAA only, T4- 100% RR + FAA, and T5- 50% RR + FAA) arranged in randomized complete block design with three replication.
Result of the study showed that plants applied with 100% RR+ FAA has the highest number of fruit per plant, highest yield and highest return on investment, but did not significantly differ to plants applied with 50% RR + FAA and 100% recommended rate.
