Abstract
This study focused on the utilization of composted sargassum on the growth and yield of pechay. The study used the experimental research design following the Randomized Complete Block Design. There were five treatments used comprising of four (4) different levels of composted sargassum and a control (garden soil). Thirty (30) pots of pechay were used and arranged in three replications.
Results showed that composted sargassum have low levels of NPK. Pechay plants treated with 1 kg composted sargassum (T4) produced higher growth increment, number of leaves and final weight. However, no significant differences were observed with the other treatments used.
