Abstract
The study aimed to assess the Clean and Green program of Oplan“MINDA”.
A total of 452 respondents (420 community residents and 32 implementers), who were chosen randomly, served as the respondents of the study. Informal interviews with the use of prepared questionnaire and personal observations were undertaken to gather data.
Frequency counts, percentage, weighted mean, Pearson Product-Moment Correlation and Analysis of Variance were the statistical toolsused.
Result showed that 54.65 % of the respondents were males, 46 years old, married (67.79 %), college graduate (37.39 %), were government employees (46.48 %), livingI in the locality for 45 years and earned P6, 588.50.
The respondents were “much aware” on the Clean and Green program of Oplan “MINDA”, and they perceived the Clean and Green Program of Oplan “MINDA” as “fully implemented.”
There is no significant relationship between the level of awareness and extent of implementation of the Clean and Green Program of Oplan “MINDA” among the barangays of Bacnotan.
