Abstract
Rabies continues topose a serious threat topublic health, especially in areas where
reporting and monitoring remain limited. This study developed a web application for
rabies surveillance and reporting, providing an accessible, efficient platform for
documenting suspected cases and monitoring vaccination activities. The system allowed
users to submit case reports, access relevant information, and generate data that could be
used by health authoritiesfortimely responses and decision-making.
Using the Rapid Application Development (RAD) Model as a framework, the
application is designed and tested with selected users to evaluate its usefulness,
information quality, and interface quality. The system provided a user-friendly interface
and reliable reporting features, enabling faster communication between the community
and health officials. The development of this web application strengthened rabies
surveillance efforts, improved data accessibility, and supported preventive measures to
reduce the risk ofrabies transmission.
