Abstract
The study was conducted at San Fermin, Caba, La Union from October 26, 2005 to January 30, 2006 to compare and evaluate drip and furrow irrigation as applied to green pepper in terms of the following parameters: yield, plant height, rooting depth, irrigation application efficiency and amount of water applied. The treatments were as follows: T1 –Furrow irrigation T2 –Drip irrigation T3 – Manual Sprinkler (Control) The result indicated that drip irrigation method significantly differed in plant height, yield per hill, rooting depth, survival rate, total amount of water applied and irrigation application efficiency parameters compared to furrow and manual sprinkler methods of irrigation.
