Abstract
A resort is a self-contained, commercial establishment primarily designed to cater to vacationers’ needs, offering accommodation, food, recreation, and entertainment all in one place. It is a place where individuals can relax, enjoy recreational activities, and meet their various needs during a vacation. This study assessed the financial performance of DOT Accredited Resorts in the Municipality of Bauang, La Union, focusing on the relationship between business profiles such as capitalization, number of employees, business location, ownership structure, products and services offered, and years of operation and key financial indicators including revenue, liquidity, profitability, and leverage. Using a cross-sectional and correlational research design, data were collected from 8 DOT Accredited Resorts through survey questionnaires.
