Abstract
In today's dynamic and competitive job market, the transition from senior high school to the workforce presents both opportunities and challenges to assess the employment opportunities the for graduates. This study aims for senior high school graduates in the City of San Fernando, La Union, by examining the profile of industries, available job positions. and preferred 2lst-century skills required by employers. This study employed a researcher-designed survey within a quantitative descriptive research design. Data were gathered from 343 registered micro-enterprises in the City of San Fernando, La Union, using frequency, percentage, and median. The study reveals that micro-enterprises in the City of San Fernando, La Union, primarily offer low-skill service jobs. However, the findings also highlight that 21st-century skills are vital for enhancing the employability of Senior High School Graduates.
