Abstract
The high cost of commercial feeds prompted poultry raisers to look for alternative sources of feed ingredients such as ipil ipil leaf meal and rice bran. Hence, this study was conducted to determine the performace of broilers fed with ipil ipil leaf meal and rice bran from November 16, 2012 to December 20, 2012 at San Martin, Bacnotan, La Union. A total of 90, fifteen-day-old broiler chicks were randomly distributed into six treatments, following the Randomized Complete Block Design (RCBD) in three blocks. Based on the results of the study, the final weight, gain in weight, feed consumption, feed conversion ratio and profit above feed, medicine and stock cost of the birds fed with ipil-ipil leaf meal and rice bran can be used to replace up to 20% of broiler starter mash in the ration
