Abstract
This study examines the revenue management strategies and financial performance of resorts in the Second District of La Union, addressing the limited empirical evidence on local resorts. Specifically, it investigates how pricing, forecasting, inventory management, distribution management, and ancillary revenue management strategies relate to financial performance in terms of profitability, sales or revenue efficiency, and revenue growth, and further explores the relationships between these variables. Using a descriptive-correlational design, data were collected from 32 registered resorts via validated survey questionnaires and analyzed using median, ratio analysis, and Spearman Rank-Order Correlation. Results show that resorts demonstrate moderate to high implementation of revenue management strategies, while financial performance varies across resorts. Findings reveal that only selected strategies, particularly distribution management and ancillary revenue management, have significant relationships with specific financial indicators, while other strategies do not exhibit measurable associations. Recommendations include strengthening the implementation of key strategies and enhancing financial monitoring to improve overall resort performance.
