Abstract
This study was conducted to determine the best duration of soaking to ANAA, best concentration and the interaction effects between the duration and concentration on the growth and survival of himbabao cuttings. It was conducted at the nursery of the Institute of Agroforestry and Watershed Management, DMMMSU-NLUC, Bacnotan, La Union from February 2 to May 2, 2004.
Two hundred seventy himbabao cuttings were used in the study and were laid-out using Two-Factor Factorial Experiment in Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with 9 treatment combinations replicated three times.
The treatments used were the following:
FACTOR A (Duration of Soaking)
L0 – control
L1 – 8 hours
L2 – 12 hours
