Publication Assessment and Thematic analysis of activities of the school division of Benguet based on clustering algorithm(Don Mariano Marcos Memorial State University - Mid La Union Campus, 2024-07) Frondarina, Gary B.Evaluation is a critical tool in systematically assessing the effectiveness, efficiency, and output of various projects, programs, and activities. This research delves into the essential steps in activity evaluation, emphasizing the significance of clear goal definition, meticulous data collection, rigorous analysis, and insightful interpretation. It aimed to enhance activity evaluation methodologies and practices for activities within the Schools Division of Benguet (SDO). The study developed an Assessment and Thematic Analysis system using a Clustering Algorithm for data analysis. This system processes and analyzes data from activities, providing a comprehensive overview of feedback and participants’ engagement. The study employed both descriptive and applied research designs, integrating the Cross Industry Standard Process for Data Mining (CRISP-DM) framework and the K-means clustering algorithm as the primary analysis tool. Concurrently, the Agile Kanban model was used for system development. The SDO Benguet Online Activity Evaluation System facilitates user segmentation, thematic analysis, and clustering. Rigorous testing ensured adherence to user acceptability standards, indicating the system's reliability and efficiency. Recommendations include encouraging full adoption of the online platform by program owners, providing proper ICT training and technical assistance, and implementing comprehensive monitoring and evaluation strategies. Further studies are suggested to expand assessment processes across different organizational settings, considering additional system configurations for improved outcomes.Item Flipped classroom approach in teaching physical science fro grade 11 students of dili national high school, sta cruz, ilocos sur(Don Mariano Marcos Memorial State University -Open University System, 2023) Samson, Jomari C.This research study aims to measure the Effectiveness of Flipped Classroom Approach in teaching Physical Science. The study used a combination of Experimental reseach designs as two groups participated; on Experimental Group (Flipped Classroom) and Control Group (Traditional Classroom); a Descriptive research design with a researcher-made questionnaire was used to measure the Effectiveness of Flipped Classroom approach in terms of; (a) Student Performance, (b) Instructional Delivery, and (c) Student Engagement. Statistical tools used were t-test: Two Sample Assuming Equal and Unequal Variances, and Descriptive statistics. Research studies were administered to 61 Grade 11 GAS students of Dili National High School, Sta. Cuz. Ilocos Sur. Results show that Flipped Classroom is a Very Highly Effective educational approach in improving students` mastery of the lesson, promoting more avenues for classroom communication, and developing a more positive attitude towards learning.Publication Readiness in the Civil Service Examination of Bachelor of Public Administration Students of DMMMSU-MLUC(Don Mariano Marcos Memorial State University - Mid La Union Campus, 2024-05) Bugarin, Rhealyn H.; Banatao, Rogeline E.; Lubrica, Maribel A.; Marimla, Jolina G.; Oribio, Irish Joy Q.This study assessed the readiness of Bachelor of Public Administration (BPA) students at DMMMSU-MLUC for the Professional Civil Service Examination, focusing on verbal ability, analytical ability, numerical ability, and general information. Using the Civil Service Examination test questionnaires from the Carl Balita Review Center, data were collected from 74 out of 80 third-year BPA students and analyzed through item analysis, percentages, mean, and standard deviation. Findings indicated that third-year BPA students are unprepared and have failed to pass the Civil Service Examination. Overall, the study concludes that all respondents, regardless of section, are not ready to take the Civil Service Professional Examination. These findings emphasize the need for targeted interventions to enhance students' preparedness in critical areas required for the examination.
