Publication Student academic record management system for secondary schools with business intelligence approach(Don Mariano Marcos Memorial State University - South La Union Campus, 2024-04) Abegail, Ordona; Casuga, Joan V.; Espinoza, Alyssa Claire C.; Gabuyo, Frenz Rhazcel; Ramirez, Elizalde R.; Salazar, Rodolfo Jr. C.An Academic Record Management System (ARMS) streamlines academic record storage and management, aiming to automate administrative tasks, reduce delays in receiving report cards, and enhance communication between educational institutions and parents. Automated grading systems with Business Intelligence solutions offer time efficient, accurate grading and data-driven decision-making for secondary schools. This study aimed to create a Student Academic Record Management System with a Business Intelligence approach/or parents to easily access their children's subject grades and for teachers to efficiently manage students' academic performance. The objectives include the development of the student academic record management system and assessing its usability through a survey questionnaire. The researchers used a descriptive-developmental research method to accomplish the objectives of this study. The materials used were the Rapid Application Development and the Post-Study System Usability Questionnaire. As a result, the Student Academic Record Management System for Secondary Schools with a Business Intelligence Approach was successfully implemented, including features such as SMS notifications, email notifications, viewing, inserting, and printing grades, and generating Form 137, among others. Lastly, the developed Student Academic Record Management System for Secondary Schools with a Business Intelligence Approach was proven usable with a mean rating of 1.59.
