The study was conducted to assess the behavioral problems of pupils at Cadumanian Elementary School in their academic performance and to propose an intervention program for them. With the use of a questionnaire, the study gathered data from 54 pupils, 42 parents, and 5 teachers in the locale of the study. The data gathered were processed and analyzed using frequency counts, percentages, weighted mean, the Pearson Product Moment of Correlation, and Chi-square. Among the profile variables that may affect the level of academic performance, it was the highest educational attainment of fathers and mothers that had influenced pupils’ performance the most. It was on the behavioral problems assessed by teachers on motivational areas and academic areas, and the assessment of teachers on overall behavioral problems that had significant correlations. The proposed intervention program for the pupils with behavioral problems of Cadumanian Elementary School is vital in sustaining and further improving the level of their academic performance and managing their behavior.
