Abstract
One of the prerequisites of interactive learning is an oversimplified instructional material which conveys more vividly instructional information to learners. In the same way, it can also give an important structure to lesson planning and the delivery of the instruction itself. Thus, this study was conducted to address the needs of students and teachers by developing an instructional material package based on their least mastered topics and learning style. For this reason, a dry-laboratory manual coupled with a computer-based learning material for General Chemistry 1 of the STEM strand in Senior High School were made. In this study, the researcher utilized the descriptive developmental research design. In addition, the statistical tools used were the frequency count and percentage. The Flesch Reading Ease Formula and Flesch-Kincaid Grade level were also used to analyze the readability index of the dry-laboratory manual. The developed interactive instructional material package was rated as “PASSED" by the experts. Hence, the uses of laboratory manual coupled with a computer-based learning
material are suggested for facilitate instruction in Chemistry subjects effectively.
