Abstract
The study determined the readiness to offer HUMSS Strand in the Senior High of public secondary schools in La Union. The study used the descriptive method of research and a questionnaire as the main data-gathering instrument. The study covered 16 principals, 48 teachers, and 96 learners. There were a total of 160 respondents in the study. The data gathered were analyzed and interpreted using frequency counts, percentage weight, and weighted mean. Most of the school heads were dominated by females, who were in their fifties, most of them have finished their masteral and doctorate degrees, they have served as school administrators for a decade and more, they have attended related training, few of them have written an action research, and they were all members of NAPSSHI; as to teachers, most of them were also dominated by the females who were in their thirties, some of them have finished their doctorate and masteral degree, most of them were in the teaching service for almost 6 years, they have attended several related training, few of them have written an action research, most of them were also members of various organizations; the extent of teachers, school heads and schools readiness to offer HUMSS Strand is found ready to a great extent. The availability of classroom, equipment and furniture, and instructional materials were found to be the constraints.
