This study pinpointed the factors that best predict the level of job motivation of the faculty members of DMMMSU-SLUC for SY 2010-2011. Specifically, it determined the socio-economic profile of the faculty members in terms of: age, sex, civil status, highest educational attainment, years of teaching, employment status, monthly income, seminars and trainings attended, and academic rank; the respondent’s job motivators; personal values on job motivation; the level of job motivation in terms of: recognition, professional growth, achievement, job security, compensation, work, responsibility, interpersonal relationship, working conditions, supervision and policy and administration; significant relationship between the level of job motivation and the socio-economic profile of the faculty; a significant relationship between personal values of faculty and their level of job motivation; and the proposed values re-orientation program based on the findings of the study. The research method used for the study was descriptive with the questionnaire as the instrument to gather the needed data coupled with an interview with the HR personnel. Of the 222 faculty members, a sample of 141 served as respondents. Statistical tools and procedures such as frequency counts, weighted mean, percentages and ranks were employed to draw out the consolidated/deduced data for analysis and interpretation. The Pearson Product Moment Correlation using the Statistical Package for Social Science (SPSS) software and chi-square were used in the test of relationship between the variables of the study. Salient findings showed that the faculty in DMMMSU-SLUC were generally within the age bracket of 20-30 years old; though dominated by female faculty, teachers are having equal opportunities without having any kind of gender bias; the faculty have their units in master’s degree, some have already finished and some have earned the highest degree; most of the faculty were tenured; most of the faculty holds an instructor position as based on their years of teaching; the faculty receives a minimum salary range of P 17,999-23,999 based on their academic rank and years of teaching; most of the faculty attended to local seminars/trainings. The respondents’ job motivators were compensation, achievement, professional growth and interpersonal relationship, responsibility, recognition, job security and working conditions. This means that these positive motivators are the drives that fulfil the respondents’ needs to be highly motivated. Majority of the faculty upholds values of variety, decisiveness and orderliness but low in goal-orientation. Thus, these are the values that majority of the faculty upholds. There was high motivation. The respondents’ showed a level of motivation. Profile of the faculty fits with the standards required by the university. Among the profile of the respondents, not one profile was found to be significant and positively related to the identified job motivators. On the other hand, respondents’ personal values directly affect their level of job motivation.
