Abstract
Students show unfavorable attitudes toward their studies. This study assessed the psychosocial needs of students of Don Mariano Marcos Memorial State University — Mid La Union Campus It looked into the profile of the students which were correlated to find the significant relationship of the identified variables.
The descriptive research method was used with the questionnaire as the data gathering tool. There were 381 respondents from the five colleges in the Campus. Frequency counts, percentages, rank order, weighted means and Pearson Moment of Correlation were the statistical tools employed.
Findings showed that the profile of the respondents is diverse; the four areas under the psychological needs together with the six indicators under social needs are recognized as much of a need. There is a significant relationship between the family income, occupation of the father, and membership to organizations to the psychological and social needs of the students.
