The study was conducted to evaluate the influence of tillage methods and organic
fertilizers on the growth and survival of rice bean between Calamansi trees from
February 22- June 22, 2022. Split plot design was used with the tillage methods (zero
and minimum) as the mainplot and subplot composed of organic fertilizers such as
Chicken manure+Bio-N, Cattle manure+Bio-N,Chicken manure, cattle manure and the
Control (No fertilizer application). Result of the study revealed that Rice Bean can grow
either in minimum or zero tillage methods, and without the application of organic
fertilizers. Correlation analysis on the chlorophyll index, light intensity and number of
root nodules produced by rice bean are positively correlated but they are comparable
with each other. The rice bean favored the growth of Calamansi trees.
