dc.description.abstractBauang Bakawan Eco-Tourism Park is a project initiative that provides social and economic opportunities to all the people of the community in Puraw Kadaratan. This project initiative serves as avenue to have improvement on the lives of the community. To better grasp the concept and the project's goals, it is crucial that the project contains major comoonents such as cost, objective, scone, timeframe, and beneficiaries. This studv described and analyzed the contribution of the project to the lives of the community in Puraw Kadaratan in Bauang, La Union. It utilized a research-made survey questionnaire in gathering data from the 9 implementers and 53 beneficiaries that totals to 62 respondents. The data gathered were analyzed using frequency and percentage. The findings show that all of the respondents gained contribution to their lives particularly on providing social benefits within the project area. However, some perceived that they do not have access to medical facilities. This indicates that despite gaining benefits, the project lacks initiatives to improve access to provide basic social services to the community. As an output of this study, a policy brie f is formulated to fill in the gaps and shortcomings of the project in terms of providing basic social services to community.
