| dc.description.abstract | This study developed ImmuneQuest, a gamified mobile application designed to promote health awareness and enhance understanding of the human immune system. Specifically, it sought to examine the current level of awareness and interest in immune-related health topics among target users, to develop the ImmuneQuest mobile application using the Rapid Application Development (RAD) model, and to evaluate the usability and engagement level of the application through a modified System Usability Scale (SUS) and Game Engagement Questionnaire (GEQ). The study revealed that many individuals, particularly younger audiences, lacked sufficient knowledge and motivation to learn about the immune system through traditional educational materials. Using the Mechanics-Dynamics-Aesthetics (MDA) framework to design game features, the researchers effectively created an engaging and educational tool for health promotion. The completed version of ImmuneQuest was deemed both user-friendly and enjoyable by participants, highlighting its potential as an additional resource for health education. | |
