Vitamins and minerals provide defense against diseases, promote growth and reproduction. Hence, this study was conducted to determine the effects of different brands (T0 - Control, T1 - Afsillin, T2 - Cecical) of vitamin/mineral supplements on the performance of growing - finishing hogs from December 6, 2007 to February 6, 2008 at the Piggery Project of the Don Mariano Marcos Memorial State University, North La Union Campus, Bacnotan, La Union. A total of 18 hogs were distributed into three treatments using the CRD replicated three times. The result of the study showed comparable performance of growing-finishing hogs in terms of final weight, total gain in weight, average daily gain in weight, profit, and feed conversion efficiency. However, hogs given with cecical consumed significantly higher than those pigs given with afsillin. Hogs supplemented with cecical significantly registered the lowest cost of feed to produce a kilogram gain in weight.
