Abstract
This study determined the challenges faced by the non-teaching staff of DMMMSU Mid La Union Campus. The questionnaire used in this study was a researcher-made. A total of one hundred thirty-six (136) non-teaching staff participated at DMMMSU-MLUC with an 84 percent response rate. Researchers utilized frequency count and percentage for the profiles of the respondents and the challenges they faced. Spearman Rho was used to determine the significant relationship between the respondent’s profile and their challenges faced. A training design was developed to address these challenges. Findings revealed that in terms of the respondent’s profile: 19.85% of the employees were in the age bracket of 25-28 years old, 58.09% are female workers, and 54.41% are single. In terms of their employment profile: 72.06% are college/bachelor’s degree holder, 47.06% are employed from 1-6 years, 13.24% are in the auxiliary services, and 64.71% of the employees are contract of service. Furthermore, there’s a challenge in rewards and benefits. Lastly, the non-teaching staff’s employment profile in terms of highest educational attainment was significantly related to the challenges they faced.
