dc.description.abstractThis study aimed to design and develop an Online Medicine Ordering System to help customers to purchase medicine needed without having a hard time, getting into the drug store. Specifically, it aimed to (a) determine the socio-economic profile of the respondents; (b) evaluate the vulnerability of the developed system; (c) assess the acceptability of the developed system; (d) determine the relationship of socio-economic profile and the perception of acceptability of respondents; and e) determine the significant difference on the perception of respondents according to sex and type of respondents. The results were as follows: (a) The developed system can be an effective medium to help buyers purchase medicine in the convenience of their home; (b) Majority of the respondents were females; within age group 25 and below; and receive a salary of Php 10,000 and below; (c) The developed system can possibly resist vulnerability attacks; (d) The developed system is acceptable in all the indicators; e) Analysis shows a significant relationship between type of respondent and functional suitability of the system; and type of respondent and salary towards the usability of the system; and f) Analysis shows no significant difference on the perception of the respondents as to sex and type of respondents.
