dc.description.abstractWomen local chief executives are versatile to the challenges encountered in this time of pandemic as women are capable of constantly adjusting their behavior. This study presented and determined the Woman Local Chief Executive Leadership in the COVID 19 Response Management in the Municipality’ of Sudipen, La Union. Specifically, the profile of the Local Chief Executive (LCE), extent of the LGU’s compliance with the NAP-COVID19 PDITR Strategy, impact mitigation measures implemented by the LCE, level of satisfaction of the Punong Barangays (PBs) on the LGU’s compliance with the NAP-COVID19 PDITR Strategy. This study utilized a survey questionnaire, document review, and written interview in gathering data from 83 respondents from Sudipen Municipal Task Force, Department Unit Heads and PBs. Data were analyzed using median on the extent of the LGU’s compliance to the NAP-COVID19 PDITR Strategy and to the level of satisfaction of the PBs with the LGU’s compliance. This study presented the profile of the LCE and its relation to the response management of the LGU; , 1 Findings reveal that the LGU is fully compliant with PDITR Strategy; the LCE implemented several measures to mitigate the impact of the pandemic; the PBs are extremely satisfied with their LGU s compliance under Prevention, Detection, Treatment, and Reintegration Strategies and very satisfied under Isolation Strategy.
