dc.description.abstractThe study was conducted to evaluate the growth and yield of spring onion (Allium fitulosum L) and to determine the best mulching materials and organic fertilizers used. The study was conducted at the calamansi plantation of Don Mariano Marcos Memorial State University - North La Union Campus, Bacnotan, La Union. from February 24,2023 to April 11, 2023. A total of 216 spring onion and two months old Spring Onions were used. The study was laid out using the split-plot design with three replications. Results of the study showed that organic fertilizers and mulching materials has no significant effect on the days to crop emergence, height, yield per plot, net income and survival percentage.
