dc.description.abstractHigh cost of feeds is the major problem encountered by poultry raisers. Hence, This study was conducted to determine the Aloe vera extract as Supplement in the drinking water for broiler . This was conducted at Poultry Project of DMMMSU- NLUC, Sapilang, Bacnotan, La Union from November 14 to December 19,2014. A total of 75 heads 14-day-old broiler chicks were distributed randomly in five treatments following the RCBD in tree blocks. Result revealed that birds given 10 to 20 ml Aloe Vera extract in drinking water performed comparably with the birds given antibiotics in terms of final weight, gain in weight, feed conversion ratio and profit above feed, medicine and stock cost.
