Rice middling as a by-product of rice mill industry is one potential source of feed for pigs because it is cheap and rich in energy and protein. Hence, this study was conducted to determine the effects of rice middlings as feed supplement on the performance of growing-finishing pigs and to determine the profit above feed, medicine and stock cost of growing-finishing pigs. It was conducted at the Piggery Project of the Don Mariano Marcus Memorial State University, Bacnotan, La Union from July 8, to October 6, 2010. The result of the study revealed that the performance of growing-finishing pigs fed with or without rice middlings as feed supplement performed comparably in terms of final weight, gain in weight, feed consumption, feed conversion ratio and profit above feed, medicine and stock cost.
