Agriculture is one of most important sector for every country’s economy, however, has lead serious problem on degradation of the soil quality thereby putting pressures to food production and security. This study focused on determining the effects of effective microorganisms on the growth of pechay. The study used the experimental method following the Complete Randomized Design. There were five treatments used comprising of water as control and four different effective microorganisms. Forty-five (45) pots of pechay were used and arranged in three replications. Results showed that the soil pH and phosphorus content improves after the application of treatments. The application of LABS showed an increase in growth and development of pechay plants. GKAA was found to have a positive effect on its weight. The different EM were comparable in its effect to pechay plants on height increment, number of leaves, weight after harvest and marketable weight. Keywords: effectiveness, effective microorganisms, growth, yield
