Abstract
This study was conducted at the Agroforestry Research and Demonstration Farm (ARDF), of Institute of Agroforestry and Watershed Management, DMMMSU-NLUC, Bacnotan, La Union from June 19, 2013 to October 19, 2013. The study aimed to determine the favorable growth, yield, survival and highest net income of eggplant varieties when intercropped with rambutan. The Randomized Completely Block Design (RCBD) with three blocks was used in the study. There were four plots in each block.
The different treatments used were the following:
T1 – Casino F1
T2 – Morena F1
T3 – Spitfire 252
Result of the study showed that there was no significant difference on all the
parameters observed. All the eggplant varieties were comparable in terms of their growth, yield, survival and net income produced.
