Abstract
This study determined which among the rooting media would give the best root growth and survival of marcotted rambutan branches. The study was conducted at the Rambutan Scion Grove Project of the Don Mariano Marcos Memorial State University, North La Union Campus, Sapilang, Bacnotan, La Union from July 19, 2011 to October 11, 2011.Forty-eight (48) marcotted rambutan branches were used. The Randomized Complete Block Design (RCBD) with three replications was used in the study. The treatments used were the following: T1 = Forest soil T2 = Sphagnnum moss T3 = Coconut coir dust T4 = Rice hull ash
