The demand for innovative technologies that improve productivity and quality has been driven by the demand for efficient agricultural processing methods. This study concentrates on the creation of an IoT-based chili dehydrator, a system that is intended to enhance the chili dehydrating process by means of automation and real-time monitoring. The primary objectives consist of the design and construction of a functional chili dehydrator that is integrated with the Internet of Things (IoT), the development of a program for its operation, and the assessment of its technical performance. It is provided with controls and sensors to monitor and regulate parameters such as temperature and humidity to ensure accurate conditions for drying. Users can remotely control the system, track progress, and make updates using a mobile app or web interface based on IoT. Using four important parameters: throughput capacity, temperature-drying time, time duration for per temperature setting, energy consumption per temperature-time combination the technical performance of the system was assessed accordingly. The IoT-based chili dehydrator was proven to enhance efficiency significantly while drying, minimize processing time, and enhance end-product quality, as indicated by preliminary results. The analysis of energy consumption also indicates that the system is environmentally friendly and economical. This research confirms that the IoT-based chili dehydrator is easy to use and scalable for chili processing, thus ensuring end-product quality and sustainability while enhancing agricultural practice.
