dc.description.abstractThis study aimed to look into the academic performance of high school students in Mangaldan National High School with overseas-working parents. Specifically, this study sought to describe: 1. The profile of the students in terms of variables: year level, age, sex, religion, marital status of their parents, parents who/is are working as OFW, educational attainment of their parents, number of siblings in the family and monthly income of their parents; 2. The problems encountered by the respondents in terms of; family.financial, school, and social relation; 3. The activities of the respondents during free time; inside and outside the school; 4. The academic performance of the respondents as measured by their GPA; It sought to answer the significant relationship between the profile of the respondents across their problems encountered, activities during free time and their academic performance.
