dc.description.abstractThis study focused on the development of the Jesus Reigns Ministries Incorporated Record Management System (JRMI-RMS).It addressed the objectives: determine the profile of ICT Resources of Jesus Reigns Ministries Incorporated in terms of hardware, software, and peopleware; analyze the status of the existing record management system of JRM Inc. in terms of performance, information, economics, control, efficiency, and services; develop an Electronic Record Management System for JRM Inc. using Iterative and Incremental Development model and determine the level of usability of the developed system in terms of affect, efficiency, learnability, helpfulness, and controllability. This study used descriptive and developmental type of research with the IID model as the software methodology. The researchers made used of a checklist to determine the profile of ICT resources, Wetherbe's PIECES framework evaluation questionnaire to identify the status of existing system, and SUMI questionnaire to measure the level of usability of the system. There are 15 respondents which include nine (9) boards of elders, head pastor, church administrator, secretary and three (3) IT experts. Data was quantified and analyzed by using frequency count and mean. The findings of the study revealed that the ICT resources of Jesus Reigns Ministries Incorporated are adequate to adopt the developed system. Record Management System of Jesus Reigns Ministries Inc. runs on a Windows platform and was developed with Wamp Server5.0 and any operating system such as XP, Vista etc. Findings of the study revealed that most of the Identified ICT Resources in terms of peopleware exists except that of the peopleware where systems analyst, computer programmer, and computer technician were missing; however, the presence of an ICT Administrator can support the maintenance and operation of the ICT Resources; the existing system of JRM Inc. along PIECES framework was generally perceived by the respondents as constraints;The JRM Inc. RMS was developed using Iterative and Incremental Development.; and the developed RMS was perceived by the respondents to be very highly usable with a grand mean of 4.38. Based on the significant findings on the study, the follouring conclusions were raised: Jesus Reigns Ministries Incorporated is capable of implementing the system in terms of ICT resources; The JRM Inc. may use a computer based record management system to improve the process of the existing system and Iterative and Incremental Development Process was suitable and effective in the development of the system. The Record Management System of Jesus Reigns Ministries Incorporated is very highly usable; therefore it could be helpful for the record management setting of Jesus Reigns Ministries Incorporated.
