Development of Solar Powered Bottle Waste Reverse Vending Machine is a machine that enables users to receive a redeemable ticket equivalent to incentive rewards such as rice grains or coin change by inserting a piece of plastic bottle. The development of this machine seeks to promote a clean and green environment while providing users with an alternative way of recycling through motivation-based participation. This study employed a developmental, descriptive and evaluative research design. The study went through a total of five (5) trials to determine the ability of the machine’s operational capacity, detection of plastic bottles, time precision and dispensing of ticket. The study shows that (SPBWRVM) can detect any plastic bottle and hold up to approximately 355 plastic bottles. The system was programmed to detect plastic bottles and to dispense ticket within an accurate time duration.
