Abstract
The study was conducted to present the profile of OTOP enterprise, the level of awareness and acceptability of OTOP, the level of importance of the factors affecting the implementation of OTOP, support services provided for OTOP, the opportunities, and challenges encountered in the implementation of OTOP and to propose an Information,
Education and Communication Materials for the Status of OTOP in the selected municipalities of La Union.
The majority of the businesses are sole proprietors and offer food products to the market. The study revealed that people know OTOP and that the product is acceptable. Information dissemination is important in implementing OTOP, and technical assistance is an important support service. Employment serves as an opportunity to implement OTOP.
However, the lack of information drive is a challenge. An IEC material was crafted to determine the status of OTOP in promoting economic growth in local communities.
