Abstract
Entrepreneurial skills are of critical importance to the modern economy. However, due to the pandemic, it is undeniable that it brought changes and challenges in the financial service industries, which has a huge impact on their operations. This study intends to access the entrepreneurial skills of employees in selected financial institutions and insurance companies during the pandemic as a basis for training program. Quantitative methods were adapted in the analysis of the study and questionnaires were used to measure the profile of respondents tool. Frequency counts and percentage were used to measure the profile of respondents and problems encountered by the respondents while the weighed mean was utilized to measure the capability of financial and insurance employees in entrepreneurial skills. The respondents of this study were employees from selected financial institutions and insurance components in the City of San Fernando, La Union. The findings revealed that the level of capability in the entrepreneurial skills of employees in financial and insurance services was "highly capable' and for the problems encountered in their entrepreneurial skills were "highly serious'.
