dc.description.abstractThis study is about the status of accident prone areas along the National Highway in the First District of La Union in the year 2017, as well as the problems encountered by drivers and other road users. The researchers used a descriptive-assessment method using a survey¬ questionnaire and interview guide in this study. The answers of the respondents were analyzed, summarized and tallied accordingly. The respondents in this study have a total of 210 and it was determined using the Slovin’s Formula. The findings revealed that road accident in the said location are still high. There were lots of problems that drivers encountered during their trip along the national highway. The accident prone location map and preventive tips to reduce road accidents is a big help in reducing road accidents to give a warnings to the drivers who is travelling along the National Highway of the First District of La Union.
