Sex difference is an issue in higher gain in weight, feed consumption and feed conversion ratio in swine production. Hence, this study on comparative performance of barrow and gilt after weaning until they reach 90 days old was conducted at DMMMSU Piggery Project, North La Union Campus, Bacnotan, La Union from July 27, 2009 to October 24, 2009. The data gathered were analyzed using the T-test. Result of the study revealed that there is no significant difference on the performance of barrow and gilt in terms of final weight, gain in weight, average daily gain in weight, feed consumption, feed conversion ratio and profit above feeds, medicine and stock cost.
