This study was conducted to determine the performance of broilers fed with different levels of cassava tuber meal (10%, 20% and 30%) as feed substitute to commercial broiler starter mash and to determine the profit above feed medicine and stock cost using cassava tuber meal as feed substitute. This was conducted from January 25, 2011 to February 28, 2011 at Don Mariano Marcos Memorial State University, North La Union Campus, Bacnotan, La Union employing the Randomized Complete Block Design (RCBD) in three blocks. Sixty (14 day-old) broiler chicks were used in the study. The result of the study revealed that broilers fed with a ration substituted with 10% to 30% cassava tuber meal had comparable performance in terms of final weight, gain in weight, feed consumption, feed conversion ratio and profit above feed, medicine and stock cost with the birds fed with pure broiler starter mash.
