dc.description.abstractRaising broilers on range is becoming the center of interest among animal welfare enthusiast hence, this study was conducted to compare the performance of 50 broilers under different rearing system (conventional and range method) in Brgy. Salincob, Bacnotan La Union from November 15 to December 27, 2015. The study employed the T-test analysis with five replicates. Results of the study revealed that there were no significant differences among birds raised in range method and conventional method in terms of their final weight, gain in weight, feed conversion, dressing percentage and profit above feed, medicine and stock cost.
