Organic container gardening is an ecologically friendly way of farming that ensures healthy and safe food product. hence, this study on the potting sizes (8 oz, 12 oz, and 16 oz plastic cups) and kinds of foliar fertilizers (no fertilizer; 100% 21-0-0; seaweed extract; vermitea; and Plant care as supplement to 50% BSR using 21-0-0) and their interaction effects on lettuce employing the strip design in three replications was conducted at the Horticulture Project of DMMMSU-NLUC, Bacnotan, La Union from November 13, 2014 to January 16, 2015. Results revealed that lettuce planted in 16 oz plastic cups significantly performed better in terms of biomass (g plant), root length (cm/plant) and fresh yield (g/plant) than those grown in 8 oz and 12 oz plastic cups. Application of 100% BSR (21-0-0), seaweed extract, vermitea, and plant care as supplement to 50% BSR (21-0-0) reulted to comparable shoot length (cm/plant) and yield (g/plant). Lettuce planted in 16 oz plastic cups applied with 100 BSR and organic fertilizers as supplement to 50% BSR recorded the longest root.
