This study was conducted to determine the effects of biofertilizers on the early growth and survival of inarched rambutan seedlings. It was conducted at the Agroforestry Nursery of the Institute of Agroforestry and Watershed Management of DMMMSU NLUC, Bacnotan, La Union, from August 30, 2011 to December 30, 2011. One hundred twenty (120) potted inarched rambutan seedlings were used in the study. The study was laid out using the Randomized Complete Block Design (RCBD) replicated three times. The treatments used were: T0 = 20g 21-0-0/seedling (inorganic fertilizer), T1 = 1.33kg goat manure/seedling, T2 = 300 ml bio-N/seedling) and T3 = 400g chicken manure/seedling). Results of the study showed that the highest monthly height increment and final height were produced from the seedlings applied with 20g 21– 0- 0/seedling, with means of 6.86 cm, and 68.66 cm, respectively. It also obtained the highest number of additional and final leaves with respective means of 58.73 and 84.73.
